I had to draw a bald tree. It wasn’t hard nor did it take too long. Tree branches always need careful placement because they are alway all over the place so that was the only thing really.
Again, I really like drawing flowers. They’re simple and they always come out pretty. I also enjoyed the hatching I had to do on the flower to give it definition.
So this puppy was in color but I didn’t have color pencils to actually color it in. I liked drawing the puppy but, it took some time to get done which I didn’t really like because it looks pretty simple. Other than that, it was adorable.
This teddy bear didn’t look as cute as some of the other things I’ve drawn on here. This was more realistic than cartoonish which I respected because for the most part I’ve been drawing a lot of animation instead of realistic things. It’s nice to step out of your comfort zone once in a while.
For this one I had to draw a baby dragon. This is one of the first mystical creatures they gave me throughout this whole process. I was a little happy to get at least one to practice and get better with.
I had to draw this awesome knife with a lot of detail on it. I don’t think I hit the detail right on the nose for this one but I know people know what it is when they look at it which makes me happy. Surprisingly, this didn’t take long at all either even with the shadow and hatching which was a plus.
ANOTHER FLOWER! For this one it was a rose and this one was also easy. Flowers. I’m 90% sure everyone can draw a pretty flower like this one so this is nothing new or exciting.
A realistic dog for this one. I don’t think the detail on this picture was good as well, but I did pretty well with making it look as close to a real dog as possible. At least I tried my best with this I suppose.
I had to draw another person for this one. I actually thought this one turned out pretty well and I seen an improvement with people since the beginning from me. With more practice, I think I’ll be able to draw anyone including actors and celebrities.
This picture took so much time! I had to get death in the background right as well as the little boy. I’m not sure if the guy can see the little angel/boy but this took a lot of time to get it down right. I’m content with it even though I think it could have came out a little better.
For this picture I had to draw angel winds and a lightning bolt. The detail on the wings took the most time compared to the lightning bolt. I felt so so while drawing the picture because I couldn’t draw it as quickly as I wanted to.
This is another flower I had to draw. It’s not as complex as the other ones but its still a flower. This also didn’t take long at all. For this picture, it should have been in color but again, I had nothing to color it with.
Hey, a sunflower! I’ve never really drawn a sunflower before so this is the first time. It was pretty hard because of the small details within the leaves and the petals itself. I wish they had me color this in instead because then I would have tried to get the materials to do so with on such short notice.
Another day another rose. It seems like these flowers are endless within the last bits of lessons. Don’t get me wrong, I do like drawing them but too may flowers too soon just seems like an over kill. They should lay off the flowers for a while.
When I was drawing this guy all I could think of was how big his head was compared to the rest of his body. The face itself had so much detail within it but, it didn’t fir the rest of the body at all. I wondered if the people who made this lesson got lazy or thought it was creative? Maybe it was supposed to have a cartoon feel to it?
I think his name was prince Hans. He had a lot of curls in his hair to work with and it was time consuming. His face was a lot of work as well. I thought that this showed how much I progressed in this year and it made me smile even though I didn’t physically like drawing the picture.
I had to draw an infant nose in pen. I tried my best and I thought it came out pretty well. I couldn’t erase and I just went with it. I like taking a risk with drawing because I never know where it’s going to leave me.
I had to draw a rough dagger. I really liked the caveman spear/dagger the feel and how to make it look like it came from BC. This didn’t take long to draw but it wasn’t quick either. I think this was a perfect warm up drawing to start the day.
I had to draw a pair of boots! I do enjoy shoes if I do say so myself but drawing them is a whole different thing. I hated putting in all of that shading to give it the black color look. Sometimes I really want to be lazy with drawing but then I remember that the pictures don’t come out right if I don’t put equal effort into all of my drawings.
This was like a pot type bowl thingy. This took a handful of time but I think it was worth it. I liked how it came out and if I had to sell it, I would most defiantly sell it without a doubt. It was pretty cool to draw and it seems like a picture frame worthy picture.
I’m not really sure who this is, but because it was really simple it wasn’t hard to draw at all! I’m not usually good with people but I think this came out as well as the original one did. I was really proud of myself for drawing something as nice as this.
his little girl dreads took so much time out of my life. I think it was worth it only because the picture as a whole came out so well. If it didn’t come out as well than I don’t think drawing and putting so much time within the hair, detail of her face, and clothes wouldn’t have been worth it.
Another portrait I had to draw. I don’t know who this is either but I feel like I should know. I think this is a famous picture or something in the world of art and yet I do not know what the name of it is. This picture was as simple as 21 was. It didn’t take long because I’ve mastered the hatching technique so well.
I had to draw like the part of a car wheel zoomed in. Basically it was practicing how to draw close up and how much detail and time you should put into doing something like it. They gave me the full sized picture at first and then they went on with how to draw it like it was always zoomed in which I thought was really helpful.
I had to draw a statue type thing for this one. I really don’t even know what it is. I feel like you would see something like this at the Mayain temples or something. This didn’t take long but I don’t think I did the detail within the statue correctly.
My last dog I had to draw of the lesson. I think I’m going to miss drawing dogs even though I hated drawing them so much! I don’t think I have the technique down with animals yet at all. I think they are more complex than people are which is a bit frustrating for me.
MY LAST CAT! I’m actually going to miss drawing cats. I really liked drawing the cats. For me they’re easier to draw and you can actually see where to put the most detail at to make sure the picture comes out correctly. For me dogs are totally different.
I don’t know who I had to draw but I drew it to the best of my ability. I think I did an awesome job on this one (Not to toot my own horn). I didn’t enjoy drawing it but I feel like the picture was rewarding after I finished it.
I had to draw a mean old man and I did pretty damn good. Out of these lessons, I think this is the runner up to one of my favorite pictures I had to draw. I really like the detail on his face and his hair. It’s something about this picture that just makes me happy whenever I look at it and that I would say, is a good thing.
My very last picture I had to draw. I had to draw a music abstract and this is what I came up with. I love anime so it only made sense to put anime with the music they wanted it. I will admit that it does look a little plain as a picture but plain is good sometimes and I like it.
